Privacy

DeskMate sees your camera so it can grade it. Here is exactly what happens to that data:

• Live grading happens in your browser. The warmth/light sliders run locally on your video frames. We never receive your raw video stream.
• Snapshots. A still frame is sent to our voice and image providers only when you use voice chat or request a preview still — that is how Maya sees your room and how stills are rendered. Snapshots are not sold, not used for ads, and not shown to anyone but you.
• Account. We store your email, credit balance, saved look, and your rendered stills so the app works across devices.
• Payments. Stripe processes all payments. We never see or store your card number.
• Login. Passwordless email codes. No passwords to leak.

Questions or deletion requests: reply to any login-code email and we will delete your account and stills.
